This Cookie Policy explains how Data & Web3 Services Pty Ltd (ABN 58 661 415 630), trading as Kifaayat (Kifaayat, we, us, our), uses cookies and similar technologies on the Kifaayat website (kifaayat.shop) and mobile app (together, the Platform). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information generally.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device by a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit. In this Policy, “cookies” also covers similar technologies, including pixels, web beacons, tags, scripts, local storage and in our mobile app, software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers, which perform similar functions in an app environment.

Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them), and can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by our service providers).

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• make the Platform work, signing you in and keeping you signed in, securing your account, remembering your bag and enabling checkout;
• remember your preferences, such as your country and cookie choices;
• understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it, which pages are visited, which features are used, and where errors occur; and
• measure and improve our marketing, including showing you Kifaayat ads on other services and measuring email and campaign performance.

3. The Cookies and Technologies We Use

Strictly necessary. Required for the Platform to function; these cannot be switched off through our consent banner.

• Clerk: authentication, session management and phone/OTP sign-in security.
• Stripe: payment processing and fraud prevention at checkout.
• Platform cookies: security, load balancing, remembering your bag, and recording your cookie preferences.

Analytics and performance. Help us understand usage so we can improve the Platform. Used only with your consent where the law requires it.

• Google Analytics: traffic and usage measurement. Opt out any time via our cookie settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). More: policies.google.com/privacy.
• PostHog: product analytics and feature usage measurement. More: posthog.com/privacy.
• Sentry: error and crash diagnostics (app and website reliability). More: sentry.io/privacy.

Functional.

• Mapbox (or Google Maps): map display and location-based features. More: mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
• OneSignal: push notification delivery and preferences (app). More: onesignal.com/privacy_policy.

Advertising and marketing. Used with your consent where the law requires it.

• Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixels: remarketing and campaign measurement, which may involve sharing hashed identifiers so ads can be shown to you on those services.
• Beehiiv / Resend email pixels: measuring whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked.

4. Your Choices and Consent

• Cookie banner and settings. Where required by law (including for visitors from the United Kingdom), non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can give, refuse or withdraw at any time through the cookie banner or cookie settings on our website. Your choice is remembered by a preference cookie.
• Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean parts of the Platform (such as sign-in and checkout) do not work.
• Mobile device controls. On iOS you can use “Allow Apps to Request to Track” and privacy settings; on Android, “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalisation”. You can control push notifications and location access in your device settings.

• Opt-out preference signals. Where legally required, we honour recognised universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control for the browser you use.
• Email tracking. You can limit email pixels by disabling image loading in your email client, or unsubscribe from marketing emails entirely via the link in any email.

5. Cookies and Personal Information

Where information collected through cookies identifies you or is reasonably capable of identifying you (for example, an analytics identifier linked to your account), it is personal information and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the sections on international transfers and your rights.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including as we add or change service providers. We will post the updated version on the Platform and update the “Last updated” date.
